Delivery Explained

Here’s our delivery policy and some important information about delivery costs and import duties if outside the UK. If you have any questions about what you find here, or something isn’t covered, please email us: gallery@artmarket.co.uk.


Legal Stuff

The Artmarket Gallery ships to almost all countries worldwide. If you are located somewhere we do not ship to, you are welcome to contact us and we will see if we can find a solution for you.
The Artmarket Gallery reserves the right to refuse shipments to specific countries.
The Artmarket Gallery cannot guarantee how long a shipment takes to arrive and is not responsible for any delays once the order has been handed over to the carrier.
The Artmarket Gallery is unable to ship wine or any other forms of alcohol to the USA, due to import restrictions.

Packing & Shipping

Our packing is of excellent standard and each item is hand packed based on its individual requirements, we will use recycled packing where possible and we aim to be as environmental aware as possible. Our card is FSC accredited and the packing tape is paper based yet very robust.
Orders can be gift wrapped before they are packed for transport, please select this option at checkout.
Most items are shipped by courier DHL or FedEx to ensure speedy delivery. For small orders to in the UK we can also choose Parcleforce. Deliveries often ship free of charge but if a delivery cost applies you’ll see the shipping costs and options available for your order at checkout or in writing if buying through other channels or in gallery.
For in stock orders we aim to pack and send your order within 5 business days of receiving it, except at peak times (e.g. in the run up to Christmas), when it can take us up to 7 business days to send it.
Orders placed after 10am GMT on a Friday are processed the following Monday.
Orders which aren't in stock, require framing or are bespoke will take longer, we aim to complete all these orders within 30 days, often it will be quicker but may on occasion be longer, you will be updated on regular basis by email, phone or digital message depending on your communication preference.
If your order is urgent, please email us (gallery@artmarket.co.uk) and we’ll do everything we can to prioritise it.

Taxes & Import Fees

Buyers from the UK pay tax at checkout. If the artwork is within the VAT Margin scheme then tax is also included at checkout but not itemised on your invoice.
Buyers from outside the UK do not pay tax at checkout, instead you’ll need to pay local taxes and import fees when the shipment arrives at the destination country.

Delivery

If you have selected a delivery option with tracked shipping (DHL or FedEx), you’ll receive an email with a tracking number when your package has been sent. Your order is delivered to the shipping address you provide when you place your order. If there is no one available at the delivery address to accept the order when it is delivered, the courier will contact you to arrange re-delivery.
If the courier is unable to deliver the package to you, they return it to us in East Yorkshire, UK and we get in touch with you by email. If you choose to have the item re-delivered, you are responsible for the return shipping costs.

Issues With Your Order.

We do everything we can to ensure that your order arrives promptly and in perfect condition. If you receive your item damaged or defective, or if you receive the wrong item, contact us immediately at gallery@artmarket.co.uk. We will review the issue and do everything we can to correct it.
