David Shrigley's "The Plant Loves Me" from 2023 is a vibrant testament to the intimate connections between humans and nature. This 26-colour hand-pulled screenprint, enhanced by a varnish overlay, printed on somerset satin tub sized 410 gsm, captures the whimsy and depth inherent in Shrigley's work. Emblazoned with the narrative, "The Plant Loves Me, I am so lucky," it speaks to the serendipitous joys in simple moments. Part of a limited edition of 125 hand-signed prints, this artwork reminds viewers of the unspoken bonds with the world around us, presenting a delightful blend of gratitude and wonder in every brushstroke.
