Award Winning artist Peter Smith at the Artmarket Gallery

Alongside the new Impossimal collection, Jayne Smith displayed her beautiful original ceramic pieces.  The World Of Impossimals is a deceptive place, and Peter always likes to bring you something a little different. At our event there were 5 golden hares hidden by Peter around the gallery for the visitors to find and most importantly keep. It was based on first found, first served with each hare being uniquely numbered and named. This led to a lot of excitement on the day with special surprises being unveiled”.On a lovely Sunday afternoon in September ArtMarket Gallery hosted celebrated artist PETER SMITH to commemorate his 10 years since the launch of the Impossimals collection. To celebrate the occasion an event was organised by the ArtMarket Gallery which saw the acclaimed artist and wife, also an artist in her own right Jayne Smith attend an event exhibiting their recent work. Charlotte from the Artmarket Gallery commented “we wanted people to join Peter Smith in celebrating 10 years since the Impossimals were first published. As this was Peters first public appearance with his seven brand new Impossimal pieces and three new sculptures we needed great display graphics and . The event was a huge success which was achieved on the back of some great preparatory work which along with the surprises included drinks and canapés served by the Michelin star restaurant Pipe and Glass. On the same day The Cottingham Food Festival was taking place where James Mackensie from the Pipe and Glass Inn was doing food demonstrations which rolled into the event taking place at the ArtMarket Gallery as well.  In order to market the event RollUpBanner.com were commissioned to elevate the event by creating bespoke graphics on pull up banners and  to sit within the store as well as external to the premises.  This allowed ArtMarket to build anticipation for the event. The work done by RollUpBanner.com was extremely effective and to a very high standard which also included a full graphic wrap on our counter. Congratulations to all involved!
