Commissions at the Artmarket Gallery

If you can’t find the perfect piece, or the art you love is sold out, we can have our artists tailor make you your very own artwork. The process is simple and we have devised a few pointers for you below on how to achieve the most from your commission.

Firstly, you need to decide which artist it is you love and find the right style for your commission. We have a range of artists that are happy to and love to complete your commissions. From Rozanne Bell’s bright, vibrant colours, Zee’s digital modern icons, or Simon Wrights stunning cityscapes, there should be a style to suit your every need.

Once you’ve settled on one of our fabulous artists, then we can discuss the image. A specific animal, a specific icon or a specific city, whatever it is that is personal to you. You need to think about what is personal to you so the artwork reflects happy memories and a meaningful display. The finer details can be discussed too, the colour pallet to the size and the frame - all of the aspects that will make this piece of art exactly what you’ve been looking for!

Finally, your chosen artist will create your very own masterpiece! A commissioned piece is quite literally a work of art, a work of art that can take some time. We often quote between 4-6 weeks for your commission to be ready for you to take home but it all boils down to demand. Our artists at the Artmarket Gallery are highly sought after but we will give you an estimated time frame upon your request.

As a general rule, we would advise against selecting a cityscape artist to create your intimate portrait of an animal, but if you are unsure on which artists style would suit your image best then our gallery team will be able to assist you.

A client of the Artmarket Gallery adored Chess’ newspaper style portraits and requested his favourite football player. Although Chess usually creates portraits of late icons, her style and adaptability created this stunning piece of commissioned art.
