McAlpine Miller Selected Artist-In-Residence At The Savoy

Artist Stuart McAlpine Miller has been chosen as artist-in-residence at The Savoy London.He was selected from over a 1,000 applicants to take up the prestigious post late last year. He is currently working on a collection of eight artworks, based on celebrity guests who have all stayed at the famous London hotel down the ages.The portraits, details of which are closely guarded, are set to take pride of place in the property’s central atrium when they are unveiled this September. Their appearance at the hotel is also expected to send prices for Mr McAlpine Miller’s already popular work rocketing.He has recently secured a major publishing deal and his works will soon be on view at selected UK galleries including The Artmarket Gallery.
