Salvador Dali - Le Cheval a La Montre Molle (the horse with the melted watch) was sold at auction at Bonhams in London on the 19th June 2012 and fetched £289,250 including buyers premium. The 141cm (55) high horse created in 1980 comes from a private collection in Switzerland. It weighs 260kg and needed three men to lift it on to its stand in the saleroom at Bonhams. The auction also includes works from Max Ernst, Joan Miro and Marc Chagall. We cant wait to put the exhibition on and will sending all our clients an invite and more details nearer the time."
