Craig Davison | Timberlyne
These pieces are a projection of Craig’s own imagination, rather than his portrayal of imaginative children’s play brought to life through the medium of his shadow paintings; his subconscious rather than his conscious mind at work. Craig’s own home, situated on a remote English hillside, catalysed the birth of this collection and influenced his use of light. The lack of artificial light, and its ensuing light pollution, gives great tone and shadow to the environment in which Craig paints; a quality that transfers into his finished pieces.
