About Nigel Cooke

Intense colours and dramatic textural juxtapositions have established Nigel Cooke as the quintessential artist of the cityscape genre. Born in Mirfield, West Yorkshire in 1960, Nigel Cooke sold his first painting when he was just 14. After joining the Merchant Navy straight from school, Nigel’s passion for art took a back seat whilst he travelled the world and created new experiences.
