This exclusive artwork came about via the Artmarket Gallerie's long collaboration with the Pipe and Glass in South Dalton. At a gallery launch of Blunt's work just before lockdown, we suggested the idea of creating a set of exclusive paintings to celebrate the best of East Yorkshire. This included one of a couple at the Humber Bridge is titled 'A Bridge To My Heart', and, of course, it was decided it would be lovely to include a piece tp celebrate the Pipe and Glass, which is titled 'Making Memories'.  

Blunt aims to create a story every time he paints. Each finished piece celebrates the fashion and romance of a bygone era, telling tales of love, life, and mystery.

"I suppose the narrative here is that they've (the couple) walked along the Humber, admired the bridge, then headed to the Pipe and Glass for dinner, and maybe stayed the night", comments Richard.

Available as a framed hand-embellished canvas on board or a float-framed giclee print on deckled-edged paper, which is double mounted and presented behind Art Screen.
